Interactive Effect of Flyash with Bioagents/Vermi-compost in the Management of Nematode Fungal Disease Complex of Tomato
Abstract
Experimentswere conducted twice under controlled glasshouse conditions to study theinteractive effect of optimized dosage of flyash (0.5%) for the management ofnematode fungal disease complex of tomato with bioagents viz., Pseudomonas fluorescens(cfu: 108/g) and Trichodermaviride (cfu: 106/g) and vermicompost available commercially withTamil Nadu Agricultural University. The study revealed that there is synergisticeffect in the interaction of flyash with bioagents/vermicompost compared toindependent effect of flyash and it is positively related to the dosage ofbioagents/vermicompost used in the present study. The interactive effect of flyash with P. fluorescens was found to be more inthe management of nematode fungal disease complex of tomato than others.
